Loved this State Park, we had the best time!!! This place is super clean with awesome walking trails. We saw an abundance of wildlife. Would recommend this place to everyone. Camp sites are immaculate and very spacious apart. We walked to the welcome center/store and was very impressed with the knowledge of the employees and park ranger. Want to give a big shout out to Samantha, Paul and Matt, we really appreciated all the great information. Felt like we have known them for ever. We will be back!!!!

Very nice remodeled campground. Clean showerhouse. $17 per night for seniors, otherwise $35.

Loved this place! We took kayaks and launched from the "back yard" of our cabin. The scenery is fantastic, especially from the water! The cabin was clean and roomy. The screened-in porch overlooks the water. It was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely going back.

Overall if you are looking for a place to just getaway and enjoy the quiet to just relax, this is the place. The kids kids had a good time outdoors and were tired from the day that they just showered, ate, and went to sleep. Barely even got on their phones (WINNING).

I am the maintenance supervisor at this park. We keep a well maintained and clean park. Our newly renovated campground will be opening soon. The fish are biting, the water is cool, come on out and join us!

Last minute getaway before school starts. Checked into cabin #1 (only cabin available if traveling with a dog) and it was beyond what I was expecting. The cabins are well maintained and my family of 5 fit very comfortable. It comes with a full kitchen so we made the 30 minute trip to Walmart to stock up.

At the state park we rented a little boat and cruised the river. We stopped at a little sand bar and the kids swam and played in the sand. Tried our hand at fishing and walked away with a few small fish for the grill. The fish are out there if you are looking to spend the day just fishing. Ranger Corbin was super sweet and helpful.
